is it reaching the styles of the late 80's? Can we see players who could mimic the styles of barnes, beardsley, rush and co

We've lost who would've been our new peter beardley and that was beni
 
pass and move... but it's more evident after Wolves were chasing from couple of goals down. Can see that players were so more more confident and comfortable on the ball after. Wolves were also attacking til the end, leaving huge swarves of space at the back. But heartening to see the improved passing.
 
today was at times - impressive...

but defensively we were far from composed... We have a long way to go before our team is even remotely as good as Rafa's that finished second.. never mind the great team from the 80's

I just want to warn everyone know, I'm gonna talk a lot of crap between now and our next defeat cos I'm deludedly excited about today and the players we've been linked with. I'm finding it hard to stay in touch with reality, I think we've suddenly become world beaters, so youre gonna have to excuse some of my upcoming posts

Dani Pacheco fits the bill nicely!
 
I think the signs were there in the three other games, we passed it better and looked a bit more unified and cohesive. Today was a vast improvement defensively and offensively.

I really want this fairytale to happen.
 
Just seen the interview and his put me at ease with regards To transfers. Also kennys era we are seeing things done behind closed doors as of old.

Thinking, of the purchase of carroll and sueraz, reminded of Toshack and Keegan. i wonder if he'll get us someone who reminds us craig johnston or barnes? charlie adams is surely Molby and cole has the potential to be a beardsley, in defence we have lawro and hansen in the form of carragher and agger. Hopefully 5 wins out 5 on the weekend
