Kelly to Palace

This gets interesting in terms of the CB race. All our CBs who could potentially be the 4th CB in the squad have been linked with departures:
- Agger (Napoli)
- Toure (Trabzonspor)
- Coates (Sampdoria)
- Ilori (Bordeaux; loan)
- Kelly (Palace)

One of these deals is not going to happen.

Fuck 'em all off (only Ilori on loan).

What's that other young CB called that's up-and-coming - double barrelled name.

He can be the 4th CB if we need one.

I think Kelly will be a CB or nothing. His hamstrings wont stand up to the rigours of playing at RB.

Toure has turned down the move to Trabzonspor I thought

I don't recall us having any young CBs with that sort of name though. The only double-barrelled name fella I can think of in the U18s/U21s is Daniel Trickett-Smith but he isn't a CB. Are you thinking of Lloyd Jones?

[article=http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/168782-kelly-seals-switch-to-crystal-palace]Martin Kelly has today completed a move to Crystal Palace.

The 24-year-old has joined the London club on a permanent deal after agreeing terms and passing a medical at Selhurst Park.

Kelly, a product of Liverpool's Academy system, made a total of 62 appearances for the Reds, scoring once, after making his first-team debut against PSV Eindhoven in December 2008.

Everybody at the club would like to wish Martin all the best for the future.[/article]

Pulis could be walking by the sounds of it, wonder if Kelly had a heads up on the beef between parish and pulis ?

Lloyd Jones - that's it.

Swore it was a double barrelled name.

Who the fuck calls their child Lloyd?

Good deal all round.

Interesting valuation if quotes for coady are to be believed (500k). I would have valued coady more.

yes, because a youth/reserve player with 1 appearance for the first team is worth more than someone with 33 appearances who was able to break into the England squad when fit.
