That defense could get real old, real fast. Bonucci did not look great at Milan last year

Pretty sure the starting back 4 for Juventus are all over 30 - it is definitely an ageing defence, although it's vastly experienced which will negate the age factor in the short term.

Crazy for Juve to sell Mattia Caldara to AC Milan - a solid young centre back, but I would not be surprised if they had a buy back clause for him.

At the end of the day - if the age of the defence does eventually become problematic Juventus can just go out and take their pick of the best young centre backs in the league.

Atletico have a very strong squad too. I expect them to push for a title this year, especially with Real in transition.

Italian league is too one paced. It will be interesting to see if Ronaldo can make the difference in Europe.

De Sciglio, Cancelo, Rugani, Alex Sandro and Spinazzola are all under 30. I agree with you though that swapping Caldara for Bonucci was a strange deal, but it's obviously focused on "the now", as their target is winning the Champions' League (the Ronaldo signing makes this even more obvious).
