You hear the term "Klopp's Project" being banded around, anyone have any details about it?

Not sure why if it is a good or bad wording. To brand it a Project it definately need to have a start date and an end date. As Klopps reign doesn't have a definitive end date yet might make it a bit difficult to brand it a Project. But I have no big problems With it at the moment. I assume it is meant to describe his and his team's effort to "make Liverpool great again" (bad wording intended). And Klopp has a long term plan for how this will happen, hence it is an ongoing Project for him until he leaves. am also pretty sure he has an aim to win the PL With us so that is probably the ultimate goal for his Project. That's what we crave for and that is why we put the resources were we do. It's been to long and we need a League sooner rather than later. Klopp is the project manager for that Project. However I also believe that the management team around Klopp believe to win it once is not enough, and to repeatedly win it you need to build a Squad of players who believe in the same things and are capable of doing what is required. Winning the CL (maybe even this year) is more difficult to build a Club/Squad/Project for, so I don't think that is the ultimate goal, rather a Nice bonus if it happens.

Klopp probably believes that winning the PL is based on consistant good performances pressing others so hard that they crack and you win.. You can of course compare it to Mourinho who believe that constantly wait for others to make a mistake will give you a chance to nick a 1-0 goal, or Wenger who believes that if you play the ball around the others you probably end up outscoring the others and hence winning in the long run. Pep has his approach and Conte his. They are all different. Pochettino has another interesting way to run "his Project".

To Reach the ultimate goal there is a few smaller Projects going on. We need to recruit the right players, and keep them when we have them performing as we want them to. We also need to develop the personell already here to lift their game to what is required to play the football Klopp wants. And we need to build up a base of Young talent pushing from below to be part of this Project.

But let's focus on the key Project here. That must be building a 1st team Squad capable of winning enough games/Points to be champions in the end. Klopp has a certain style, and it is not just to walk straight in to the team and play like he wants from day one. He is a Coach who has his team training for the next game for a Whole week if possible. The basic play is the same from game to game (pressing, intensity, moving patterns as well as Things we can't Control as players chemistry and telepathy to use another bad Word). Unlike what I read about Wenger, who is not into the details, Klopp and his team like to identify the details that give you the upper hand in the exact game. Wenger and possibly Mourinho seem to believe that they have a one-style-fit-all-occasions anyway.

Then the Word Project.... Klopp has hinted he is probably here for 6-7 years. In that time he want to both win, but also leave a Legacy that the Club is stronger in the future then when he took over. That can be defiend as a Project. If he hang around like 22 years like Wenger, it is probably not ok to Call it a Project anymore. What is Wengers Project right now? Not sure. Getting the Club into constant top 4's and nick a cup here or there seem a bit vague? What is Fat Sam's Project? Keeping his job until Next summer? Not sure. Everton right now is probably the leftovers of Koeman's Project but it failed badly. What is Mourinho's Project? Pep's? Pep's is probably more into winning the CL and put City on a chart among the greatest, where they are not today, but were we are by definition (5 CL triumphs put us there).

You've started using an awful lot of words insig.

Might I suggest frantic bouts of masterbation as another means of filling time.

Love him as the figurehead of the club. Plenty out there would swap their manager for ours and he has us looking like a very attractive proposition to young players wanting to improve. Be nice to win something though. United have got that piss-faced weasel in charge, moaning like fuck at their style of play etc and yet they have won twice as many trophies in the last year that we've managed in the last 12.
