I am the exact same mate.
It might actually change when Fergie finally goes. prays

Mata can fuck off.

I dont want ANY player that doesnt want to be here. They can get to fuck. Stuart Downing told United to nick off because he only wanted to play for Liverpool. Thats what im fucking talking about. Id rather have 11 who give a shit and win fuck all than 11 who dont know where the fuck Liverpool is and will want to go to cunting Barcelona in a year if they have a good season or will be 'A terrible bit of business' if they have a shit season.
Fuck Aguero, Fuck Mata, Fuck Silva, FUCK YOUNG, FUCK EM ALL.
These are the lads i give a fuck about>

there are some players on oncy's liverpool list that I don't give a fuck about but I agree with the general sentiment.
I started editing it (took out Aquilani and Poulsen) but then got bored.

Did Downing turn down United? news to me 😀
They made an 11th hour bid, maybe just to be devilish but Downing cut it down flat. Said he only wanted to come here.

How many fucking wingers do they want. fair fucks to the lad though. he's gone up in my estimation anyway.

Who reported the united bid? I never heard it mentioned?
It definitely was mentioned, but how true is was i dont know. Of course we were supposed to have put in an 11th hour bid for Jones but I dont know how true that was either.

It is disappointing to see a much better player go to a competitor for a similar fee to the fee we paid for a lesser player but fuck knows what attempts were made or whether any attempt at all was made.

Yes it would have been nice to buy a a "marquee" exciting signing etc etc, and I suspect we all knew we were not going to as soon as it started to pan out... Fuck it I'm happy with having a decent squad full of decent British players adorned with one of the best strikers in the world. Coulda woulda shoulda BOLLOX ... We are going to be fighting for it this season.

I was much more upset when we all sat around waiting for Silva to arrive before the cold reality of GnH started to sink in...and for all the drooling over Mata, Silva is the much much better player. Chelsea IMO are not on the way up and unless Torres has magicked himself new hamstrings and Fwank and Drogba wound 4 years of the clock I don't see them scoring heavily enough.

A statement from Valencia read: "Valencia has reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea FC for the transfer of the player Juan Manuel Mata. The agreement is subject to the relevant medical tests."

A Chelsea statement confirmed the news: ''An agreement has been reached with Valencia CF for the transfer to Chelsea of midfielder Juan Manuel Mata. The move is now subject to the player passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.''

everytime mata scores or creates

'we should have bought mata instead of (downing/henderson/carroll/adam - delete as applicable)'

I can't wait...

And why would any of our fans say that, in the end he didnt want to join us.

taken from EST -

Andy Carroll's Fee + Henderson's Fee = Aguero's fee +Augero's wages for 4 years

So has Aguero (or Mata) for that reason ever given any indication that he would come to us?

No? Well that ends that one then.
That stuff from EST is wrong. Carrolls fee + Hendos fee = Agueros Wages
Hahaha! Pedant!

It's really disappointing to see all the players we've talked about for the last couple years finally end up at our rivals.

Hopefully we can get one or two from the next batch of exciting players.
Agreed. I think thats the worst thing to be honest. That we the fans watch these kids and pick them out as ones to sign and then two years later they get signed for massive fees. Makes me wonder what the fuck scouts do? Players only seem to get noticed at world cups or when their agents start pimping them out.
I remember you me and ILD talking about Higauin before he even signed for Madrid. Now you cant buy the fucker (unless you are Citeh).

outside of hazard are there any truly exciting prospects not at a big club?
I'm sure there's loads Neil, and to be fair to Wenger, despite recent woes he's managed to pull it off enough times. Hopefully the likes of Sterling will follow.

I think we want the next big thing we are going to have to create our own.

There's something about Mata's style that has never really appealed to me. Hard to put a finger on it mind, but I hope my hunch is right now and that he proves mostly a costly flop.

If we qualify for the CL next year, I think a player like Hazard will be brought in.

I think quite a large chunk of our wage bill will be gone by then too (i.e. Cole, Degen, Jova, Aquilani) and it will make it easier for us to offer a larger wage packet to the player(s).

hazard will be gone this transfer window, I'm sure of it.

Neymar, Ganso, Little Lucas.

At a stretch, probably Cavani and Barkley 😉.

The young Barcelona Midfielder Thiago.
Sergio Canales
Christian Eriksen

Theres a few massively talented youngsters out there.
In three years time they will be 30-40m a piece.

kun was going for 17m and wanted to come here but rafa thought it was too big a risk. FOOL!! easy to say but spending that amount of money on a south american player could easily have blown up in his face, but in this day and age we are going to have to take chances as we don't have the money to buy the finished article (suarez aside).
