Decided he's a vastly overrated player (well he was crap against us wasn't he) and Chelsea are welcome to him. 😛
 
JUAN MATA is joining Chelsea – after Fernando Torres bombarded him with text messages.

The finer points of the £27million transfer are now being tied up, with the Valencia winger hoping to be unveiled on Tuesday following a medical.

And a five-year deal is on the table for Mata as Blues owner Roman Abramovich shows his confidence in boss Andre Villas-Boas by delivering his top target. Mata has been pursued by Arsenal as well this summer, but once again the Gunners have not moved quickly enough to seal a deal as Arsene Wenger stuttered over meeting his £22m release clause.

Chelsea’s case was given a huge help by record signing Torres being in regular contact with his Spain team-mate.

He was desperate for the Mata deal to go through, so has been calling and sending SMS messages to his pal.

Hahaha, if it's true that Wenger saw his 22m pound release clause and decided to twiddle his thumbs and hem and haw over it, then I just have to LOL. It's only a matter of time until they show him the door, surely. 6 trophyless seasons, selling all his top assets, and refusing to "pay over the odds" even when amazing deals like Mata for 22m are available. Just LOL.
