i reckon he'll end up at arsenal
So do i. Even Wenger wouldn't let Fabregas go without having a back up plan ie Mata.

To be honest i think Arsenal might well be better off without Fabregas, and Mata coming in. If they can keep hold of Nasri as well.
Mata, Nasri and Van Persie working in tandem is potentially leathal.

Still need to sort their defence out though.
It's six of one, half a dozen of the other Gary, they'll still have the same issues:

No backbone to the side
A generally poor backline and keeper
Van Persie's injuries
Wenger's stubborn nature in refusing to address their lack of experience.

Oh absolutely mate. Just saying that them losing Fabregas(quality player but he doesn't want to be there) and bringing in Mata would be good business in my view.

Obviously they'll still need to bring in defenders - two central defenders, maybe Cahill and Samba and a left back as Clichy is brutal.

Another striker required as well.

Rumour is Arsenal arent even interested.

Really?

Graeme Hunter was on radio a few hours ago saying Arsenal are very much interested in Mata, and are favourites to sign him.

Sorry fuckface 🙂

Its from a Arsenal site one of my mates visit. Call him the mark mc of that site if you will. Anyhoo, he said that they arent interested. Could be bollocks obvs, but tbh I think we have a good chance to sign him if we're up against the Arse.

If we're up against the Arse we're going to lose, that just means we have to line up the next target immediately

Wenger won't be drawn into a bidding war. Let's hope he pulls out and chooses Ramsey (who is a cracking player) to fill Fabregas' shoes.

Hey we beat Arsenal to the signing of Babel and look how that turned out.... Oh.

It's Colonel.

And I don't care if we lose, we just need to look at the next target.

If Mata wont come, then we can bid for Santi Cazorla.

There will be players who would come and regard playing for Liverpool as a step up from their current clubs.

i wonder how different babels career would have been if he went to arsenal
It's hard to say (plus they didn't want him), but Walcott is proof that not everything Wenger touches turns to gold.

doesn't surprise me. I think the reason we are paying a big fee for downing is downing is our first choice.

i heard somewhere that adam and downing will signal the end of our summer spending.

same shit different season

Is it really an insult when there is a smiley at the end??

Of course he had a point. But its a bit tricky copy pasting on the Ipad in an hotel on your holiboobs.
Point taken though, I'll back the shite I read and post with the info aswell.

I agree.

Early days of course but i don't think there'll be any marquee signings or whatever you call it. Not this summer anyway.

Kenny is clearly going for the tried and trusted British players who know the Premier League in the hope they help us get back into the Champions League. That added with a fully fit Gerrard and Carroll.

BumperGraham Graham Hunter
I've had it confirmed to me that more than one EPL club is negotiating to buy Juan Mata #JuanMata

really hope one of them is us, but i have my doubts

As I said in another thread, buy-out clause supposed to be 22,5 million pound (according to marca.com).
