Not only was he a prolific goal scorer,he is also one of the soundest blokes you could EVER wish to meet,we first met on Jericho Lane playing fields back in the 90's,my little Brother was playing for a team called St Michael's,they beat Aldo's lads team 1-0,my lil Bro,who is now a Pig,sorry,Constable,sorry,Cunstubble,a Copper,scored the winning goal,Aldo called him a little shit for scoring the winning goal and softly cuffed him around the head 🙂
I used to work on the Cabs a few years ago,I picked Aldo up in Woolton Village one night,I took him home (address not identified on a public forum),we sat outside his house and talked about Billy Liddell and Sir Roger Hunt for ages,I refused to accept any kind of payment because he was one of my all time hero's,he told me to fuck off and gave me a flim anyway,one of lifes soundest,I love Aldo,a genuine bloke 🙂
