Sporting Clube de Portugal forward Jeffren Suarez is on Brendan Rodgers' radar as his Liverpool side look set to lose Luis Suarez.

Suarez was a star of the Spanish U21 side up until 2011, as well as coming through the ranks at Barcelona's famous La Masia before moving to Portugal.

According to Portuguese sports daily A Bola, Rodgers tried to get him in January on loan, but wants him on a permanent basis this time around, and Sporting are likely to sell as they need the money.
