Well... everyone seems to think ket is a relatively new drug, but when I used to DJ all over the place, there was a gaff in Swansea called Tick Tock, and all the guys who ran it and everyone in there were off their barnets on ket - and we're talking from early 90s here. There were pills that I could definitely identify ket in along with other bits and bobs everywhere else, but the only place I went to for many years where everyone was using ket in powder form on its own was Swansea.
