You're seriously overcomplicating this whole issue. Despite some on here doubting it, Klopp clearly knows that we need to strengthen further, and every manager/owner relationship - every single one - will involve the manager pushing for more resources while the owner(s) try to strike a balance between that and what they can/want to shell out. Do yourself a favour and calm down.

Sturridge and players like him are different - young players with potential sidelined in favour of managers favourites or big money signings.
Giroud is 31 and we all know what he's about. Good but not great, which is why Arsenal don't play him regularly.
Newcastle have had to bids for Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jørgensen rejected and would have to cough up £20M to secure him.. so they are definitely in the market for a striker (or two) it seems.
An attacking option we're barely using at all though, and we have numerous others, albeit they played like drains in the last game.
