Liverpool want to seal the signing of Luciano Vietto ‘as soon as possible’ after making him their top transfer target.
Vietto, who currently plays for La Liga side Villarreal, has enjoyed an incredible campaign – scoring 20 goals in 39 matches.
Reds scouts have been following him closely, and now reports in Spain say Liverpool have made him a ‘prority’ signing for the summer.
It’s also claimed a giant bid will go in shortly, with Liverpool confident of closing the deal as soon as possible.
Vietto is valued at about £12.2million.

Yep, I think we can confirm Sanderson just chats utter shit. What more can you expect when there's a load of cotton and a man's hand where his brain should be?

The source for the first one is an Italian paper that says The Liverpool Echo says we are buying him. I do not believe them.

Rosco will demand it. Or maybe he won't. I'm not really sure of the rules. Whatever the opposite of common sense and the majority want, Rosco will do.

Vietto's name does seem to keep being mentioned among the usual gossip mongers on twitter. He does look a potential bargain at 20m Euros, tbf. And I think we need more goals in the team, one way or another.

I watched him against Seville there recently. He was great.

Liverpool set to roll out the green carpet

Jamie Sanderson for Metro.co.ukThursday 18 Mar 2015 10:19 am

Frustrated by their deteriorating pitch, Liverpool are said to be seriously considering the extraordinary idea of using a 'grass carpet' for the final home games of the season. The plan is to cover the Anfield surface with a thin layer of synthetic grass created specially for the club by the Lancashire firm of Grass4Life. This will be rolled out and then rolled back again before and after each match to ensure that Brendan Rodgers' passing philosophy can be properly enacted by his team as the battle for Champions League places hots up.

He's pulled this story by extrapolating from one of the personal testimonies on their website:

John Douglass, Liverpool
Grass4Life helped my club install a brand new football pitch so we can play all year round. Cheers!
