He's a winger/attacking mid right? An English boy brought up through Arsenals ranks?
I remember a few seasons ago Wenger mentioning that his youth set up was where he wanted it to be and that within the next 5 years we should be able to see more English talent coming through.

Paul Merson reckons he's already better than Walcott and England's right wing position is for him(TW) to lose at the moment.. My gooner mate told me he's probably the most naturally talented british player since Gazza.

Wilshere is an amazing talent.

Yup... he's been built up before he's even played a premier league game... Lets see if he can walk the walk with the big boys.
That said, i've seen him about 4 or 5 times now, each time thinking he's not going to be that good, only for him to pull of a ronaldo-esque trick, before ripping the other teams defence a new hole. All from the right wing.

He has the potential to be a very very special player.
I hope to see alot more of him this year - on his pre season performances id have him in ahead of Walcott every day of the week but of course at 17 he's bound to be a bit inconsistant. In this case however i can definately see some advantages to limiting his first team appearances. Theres way to much pressure on him already. Not really fair on the lad
