Reina -7+8 - one excellent save. He gets the hiogh mark for the WORLD CLASS save he made !
Insua - 6+6 - one miss but otherwise OK. Not his best game but a LOT of promise methinks.
Ayala - 7+6 - on his debut he is doing exeptionally well and seems very confident - keep it up lad / So little to do I couldn't mark him higher !
Carra - 7+6- except for one Delap throw that skimmed off his head and almost caught Reina out he hasn't put a foot wrong. No hoofing today I'm happy to report. / See above.
Johnson - 9+9 - instrumental in so much of our best play and a cracking goal. A STAR IS BORN ! I LOVE HIM ! MoM naturlich.
Masher - 7.5+ 7 - dominating MF with .... / same same in total control
Lucas - 7.5+8 - see above. Cracking shot early doors. / Played really well, got amongst their defenders and was always there with defensive tackles or the pass out wide.
Kuyt - 6+6 - not quite on his game yet but almost scored with a header that came back off the keeper for Johnson to score. / See 1st half comments. He will come good. Already a fantastic partnership on RW with Johnson.
Benayoun - 6.5+ 6.5 - a little quite for him. Dropping deep to pick up the ball and his little tricks have not quite come off yet. / Same as 1st half.
Gerrard - 8+8 - dominating the AM area. I just wish to fuck he would stop taking corners. Rather less impressive (those awful corners are driving me mad) but what a turn for Kuyt's goal !
Torres - 7+6.5- right place right time for his goal and generally looking twice as sharp as against Spurs. Surpised he didn't actually get more - this game was made for him but he is still not close to his best.
Rafa - 9 - for buying Johnson and having the guts to play Ayala.
