This is true, especially the bit about making ends meat. My teen years working in a sausage factory are probably what made me the man I am.
I have noticed that you always seem to fear the wurst.

Growing up is a chore I soooo don't miss it.
Let us know if you come up with a wiener.*searches for sausage puns*
That post is not baloney, but the fact Coutinho's got two kids should at the very least have made him cherish the real values in life..Guys, you've got to remember that lots of footballers are mentally still kids. Coutinho's job is to play football for tens of thousands of pounds a week, he's never had to face any of the real challenges that turns you into a man that you face between the age of 16 and 21, no hard decisions about careers, no grafting through a shit job to make ends meat, no struggling to pay for a house, or to live, no disappointments at all to be honest, he's had it as easy as easy is. This is probably the first real disappointment of his life, and he's handling it like a 16 year old would, it's a bit embarrassing but kinda expected to be honest.

So unless his family is unsettled in Liverpool he should've been acting far more mature in all of this, if not for himself and the club that pays him, then at the very least for his fam and kids.
Huh - I read about that doco. Worth a watch?Judging by that Rio Ferdinand documentary, having kids when you're a rich footballer doesn't particularly ground you. Don't know if you saw it but basically Ferdinand admitted he had no idea how to use the fucking washing machine in his own house, so completely removed from the reality of raising a family he actually was until his wife died. I wouldn't be shocked if Coutinho was the same. The missus deals with all that etc.
Yep, added to that i'm pretty sure Coutinho's extended family live with him, and I think it's safe to say his wife doesn't work. The guy has that all taken care for him, kinda jealous to be honest.Judging by that Rio Ferdinand documentary, having kids when you're a rich footballer doesn't particularly ground you. I guess. It sort of showed how completely divorced from reality footballers are. Plus also the overwhelming effect grief has.Huh - I read about that doco. Worth a watch?
Sounds like a downer but at least it's real. I'll check it out. Thanks.I guess. It sort of showed how completely divorced from reality footballers are. Plus also the overwhelming effect grief has.
I'd swap half our team for their non-superstar Suarez to play for us.You have to wonder would they sell him next summer if a massive offer was made. He has peaked and his value will start dropping as he gets further into his 30s. On the other hand he's got them by the balls now that Neymar has left he's the only superstar they have got and it would be a huge blow to their image to lose him.

Let's do as many as we can now before Dreamy wakes up in Australia. You know the drill, lads.
Sausage puns are rare medium well done so I'm out of the my depth here.
Frank-ly I couldn't be bothered
Not bad Dreamy - better than I could do.
Gotta do something to pass international week with Ireland blowing their chances of qualification.
You probably had less drama than our national team ... our best player & captain was booed the whole game against Macedonia, lost it, threw his armband on the pitch and was banned for a year ... and has retired from int'l football.

Why was he booed?
Who was that mate?
