Great, another Owen thread.

And anyway, do you think he won't? He was free, earns less in wages than Wes Brown, and could well score them 15-20 goals next season.

Of course they'll do well out of it.
 
He could well be injured for half the season, need a run of games to get himself match sharp (which he won't get) and score very little.

Yup, he could. Which makes the fact that he cost them nothing, and earns paltry wages in comparison to his teammates ensure that the decision from Ferguson wasn't a risky one.

Well obviously, if like Degen he stays injured and offers fucking zero then it won't have cost them anything.

But if he stays fit, then the upsides are far far greater for United than we would ever have if some shitcunt like Degen got himself fit, but then you knew that anyway.

There're demonic forces at work here.

He's bound to do well for a while, score a few goals and then get crocked.

Unfortunately if it's a few winning goals and it goes down to the wire we're not going to be too happy.
