Is Dalglish playing it safe?

No attacking substitutions against Everton, Wolves and now Fulham.

In the last two games I've only seen Aurelio and Shelvey come on.

No Cole, no Pacheco, no Ngog, no Babel.

No resting Torres.

Is this some kind of anti rotation? Or does he just want to play a settled team?

TBH I don't care if he never makes an attacking substitution for the rest of the season as long as we're winning but we've played four games in two weeks now. It will take a toll on the players.

The first 3 havent set the Prem on fire when they have played (been rather shit really), and Babel is not with us any more.
Not that he has been any good either.
Why put shit players on the pitch when the ones on it are winning?
Granted Pacheco hasnt been given much of a chance, but if the King doesnt play him I suspect it is because he hasnt earned it in training.

Poulsen was arguably as if not more shitty than Cole has been. But he got a chance to start. Twice.
Pacheco hasn't even been given a chance. Babel just left.

Shelvey appeared to do more attacking than Kuyt when he came on.

Yeah but I'm still waiting for that killer through ball or goal.

I suspect Cole isnt playing because he needs to get his shit together. He clearly is frail mentally.

A very misguided opening post there.

Considering what we have available on the bench, Dalglish has made use of his subs as best as he can. The only game where his subs were quite off was the game against Everton.

Today he took off a DM and brought in a CM with more attacking verve. It nearly backfired. But it most certainly was not cautious.

He should have scored against Wolves and fucked it up pretty badly 🙁

Give the lad a break. He'd only just come onto the field and didn't quite keep his shot low enough.

Who cares. In the three games you are talking about we won two and drew one (and that because we gave in two in five minutes)
So yeah fine. Whatever.

DALGLISH!!
