Great news with all these contracts. Out of the main team who won the trophies in the last year's, only Gomez, Matip, Keita, Ox and Firmino are not being lined up for contracts, right? Everyone else is done or expected to be so

Its easy to go and spend 60m on a finished product , it's rare that you sign a 23 year old for 8 million and they develop into one of the best in the game.
I'm 100% convinced the signing worked for two reasons - Robbo's attitude , and the fact that our backroom staff are top class. It looks to me like he lost weight, and became stronger and quicker in that first six months with us where he didn't play.

Agree with it all but I remember thinking he was skinnier when we signed him. He must have put on muscle for sure
Far better, on the basis of two games? The guy has played 5 minutes whilst Robbo has been one of the highest assisting players in the league for several seasons!

It's literally mind boggling! Don't get me wrong, I love that we have a credible FB to actually give arguably our hardest working player over the course of the last few seasons, a break. But on the basis of a couple of crosses shit is being extrapolated to the nth degree.
In terms of value I'd put him up there as 1 of our best ever signings (if you discount players like Gerrard and Trent who've been here since they were in nappies).
I know in terms of profit Coutinho turned us over 100m+ but the trophies Robbo's won here are priceless.
