There's only one team who hasn't scored a header this season. I can't remember who it is though. Man City or West Brom I think.

And Koscielny is a terrible player.

I didn't realize Tevez's record was that good. Great player.
Yep, Fantastic player. I would have loved him here.

He'll turn into a cracking player, just not ready yet, imo.

Fair enough. You've seen more of him than I have. Hope you're wrong mind. How old is he? He's not particularly young is he?

When appointed Alan Pardew??!? will be newcastles 13th manager in 13 years.

Tonight was the 150th successive game that United changed their starting line up, making a fucking mockery out of the uk press hounding of Benitez when he changed the team 99 times in row, Liverpools lesser neighbours barely getting a mention.

Who is the better player? Tevez or Rooney?

I think Tevez. I have said it even when he was at United.
Tevez has certainly wiped the floor of Rooney in the last year or so.

Rooney has had an awful 2010, during which he's been picked on reputation alone.

You can't really begrudge a changing line up when they are winning left, right and centre.

When rafa was tinkering, we were not.
150 Games would take them to the middle of the season before last. They won the league that year but not last year. Maybe tinkering cost them the title last year, certainly if it was Rafa the press would have said that was why.

Tinkering is fine when the replacements are good enough though.

That was the main reason it didnt work for us.

Well clearly they werent last year. And theyre already out of the Carling cup this year. Dont make excuses because they won the league two seasons ago, if it was Rafa he would have been savaged last year, AND when they went out of the carling cup this year.

Mmeh.

Rafa was in the wrong when he did it

End of.

He scored 34 goals in 44 games last season!

I will say I prefer an out of form Tevez to an out of form Rooney though, simply because he works so much harder.

The Sunday Times figures differ a bit though, by about 2 mllion.

25 - Barcelona made 938 passes v R.Sociedad last night, 25 more than Stoke have made in their last 3 PL games put together (913).

4 - None of the last four penalties at White Hart Lane in all competitions have been scored.

5 - Bolton have scored a goal in the 88th minute or later in five of their last six PL home games.

3 - Three of Bolton's four Premier League red cards this season have come in home games.

99 - Only the big eight (last season's top 8) have earned more points than Blackburn in Sam Allardyce's reign as Rovers' boss.

263 – Stoke City have attempted 263 long throws, more than double any other team in the Premier League. Stoke have won the most throws (445).

10 - Arsenal have lost 10 and drawn one of their last 11 games against Man Utd & Chelsea in all comps, scoring only five goals.

West Ham have scored 3 goals in a EPL away match for the first time in exactly two years – since 4-1 win at Portsmouth on Boxing Day 2008.

ON THIS DAY In 2001, Robbie Fowler scored 3 of his 9 Boxing Day goals. Fowler is the career top scorer on Boxing Day in the premierleague.

10 - Rafael Van der Vaart has either scored or assisted 10 goals in his last nine Premier League appearances for Spurs.

5 - Andy Carroll has scored five headed goals in the Premier League and all have been assisted by Joey Barton.

0 - Steve Bruce has won none & lost 11 of his 13 Premier League matches as a coach against former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Seems like 27 is the magical number for breaking away game hoodoos.

Last wk, West Ham won for the first time (vs. Fulham) after going 27 away games without a win.

Today, Fulham won their first PL away game in 27 attempts, a run stretching back to August 2009.

We better buck up or else we'll find ourselves in the hall of shame soon.

Maybe we'll go 27 years without winning the league? Or Lucas will go 27 years before he becomes a good player...

8 (Liverpool) - Of the 40 instances of teams losing 8 of their 1st 18 games in previous PL seasons, only 7 of them finished in the top 10.

6 - The last Liverpool manager to win fewer than six of his first 18 league games in charge was George Kay (5) back in 1936.
