Still no news however Fabs, Mo & VvD are certainly not playing tonight.

This from SI :

If Mohamed Salah has been managing abductor tendinopathy, then an earlier return is expected. Both players may have already been ultra sounded by the team doctor, as they always have it to hand.
The worst-case scenario in this instant would be a strain, however, due to having a good on-pitch examination and Jurgen Klopp not mentioning an ongoing injury, this is positively unlikely.

Despite Mohamed Salah walking off the pitch fine, adrenaline rushing through the body can mask the pain that has been caused. The same can be said with Virgil Van Dijk’s injury.
Van Dijk is believed to have reported suffering an injury to his right calf. Again like his teammate Salah, it may be just minor and a scan would have already taken place at the stadium.

In summary, the injuries to Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk do seem to be not as bad as first thought and there is a very good chance that both will be available possibly for next week’s Premier League match.

Worth mentioning this too (Athletic) :

All three (VvD, Fabs & Mo) are central to their team’s chances in the next fortnight and that increases the need for them — along with other key colleagues — to recover and stay fit until the campaign finishes on May 28 in Paris, where Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
The seriousness of the situation is such that Liverpool, who bolstered Klopp’s squad in January through the signing of Luis Diaz, have moved to strengthen their backroom staff to ensure they are in the best possible shape for the vital closing days of this season and further into the future.

Liverpool set to bolster staff for quadruple push as Klopp lines up return of Chris Rohrbeck. German physio very popular among squad + worked closely with Salah / Van Dijk before 2020 exit. Move accelerated after Fabinho injury

Realistically, the only one which might play before the final is Salah.

Both Fabinho and Virgil will continue to be wrapped in cotton wool.

There shouldn’t be an issue with a Konate Matip partnership for Southampton and Wolves. Salah has been poor so I’m not bothered there either.

Klopp, asked whether Salah or Van Dijk could feature on Tuesday, replied: “No. Virgil definitely not. That was pretty much clear before the game already. We thought this was the game [to rest him] because he played really a lot. Saturday-Tuesday again was clear.

“They are both OK. The target for both would be that they could be involved again at the weekend. Properly involved. On the bench and on for a few minutes or start – we will see with that because that would be perfect for the [Madrid] game. If not, we take each day afterwards. It is very positive and we have no doubt about the Champions League final but we are pretty realistic about the Wolves game.

I knew we should have wrapped him in cotton wool. Now I just want the update that says scan is all clear and he'll be fit for next Saturday (along with Fabs, VvD and Mo).

Van Dijk, Fabs and Salah will all play next week. I doubt Thiago will.

not sure I’d even play Salah. He’s been garbage for months and today he was garbage. Even scoring he was shit.
