I actually quite like Owen as a commentator and 'pundit' - He has a sort of refreshing naive charm. He's more interesting than Danny fucking Mills for sure.

I never get the ex-player as commentator thing. In most cases the factors that led them to be good players also lead them to be dreadful commentators or pundits.

The most comically naff surely has to be Trevor Francis, who persists in thinking that 'analysis' consists of watching the replay and saying what happened. Very slowly.
