that we have a good chance of landing 4th place.

If we can stay within 6 points of a Cl spot before we enter our last 11 games, i think we'll do it.

Sunderland (a)
Queens Park Rangers (a)

We can drop points in a few of those games, and form tells us we more than likely will. Everyone else has dropped points of late but that happens at some point during the season, tonight will be tough and if we get beat then nothing has really changed and we're still on the fringes. It'll be tough but only because we'll make it tough on ourselves.
 
We've been given a chance the last few days with all teams around us dropping 3 points (only 1 by Spurs though) unfortunately our chance to capitalise falls away to the best team in the league. If we win I'll fancy us to be there for the fight, if we draw, which I think we will, well its still ground gained and we'll have a chance, if we lose, well we can't keep saying we'll make it up when they slip up and not doing it can we?
 
any points gained at city are a bonus, if we want to secure 4th (and I doubt we will unfortunately) we have to learn how to break down teams that defend in numbers.
 
Win tonight and I'll start to fancy it. I dont doubt we will win....we always win to help manure out at the worst possible time!

I honestly believe we'll get top 3 minimum & with a slice of luck plus Mr Gerrard at anywhere near his best can push for the title.

I'd be surprised if Kenny opts for him, is Suarez available? I just think we need to keep possession and we need outlets, playing a paceless Carroll who needs three touches to control the ball is asking for trouble, they'll just keep coming straight back at us.

They concede most of their goals when up against a big guy up front bundling some space, we could do with Carroll tonight.

Second half of last season we had Lucas, Suarez, and an in form Kuyt. This season we have Henderson, Downing and Carroll. Yay!

I'm sure they could. They don't really have a track record of it though.

I think we'll do better the second half of the season, I expect a few other teams to do so also. We'll be there or there abouts in the mix for the top 4, but we won't be in the mix for the title. Maybe if we won the next four I may start believing we could be.
