I'd fine him a year's wages

He won the most penalties in the Premiership last season aswell

Right, and without those pens we'd have been in an even worse position. Granted he could get us more, but saying he's costing us points is missing the jist.

I thought that yesterday, Liverpool's mostly slightly-built players showed a lot of spirit in the way they took on Stoke's gorillas - particularly Raheem. They didn't allow themselves to be intimidated.

Sterling showed great fight yesterday, as did Wisdom and Suso. Good to see Brendan praising them.

I'll never get why it's ok to call an opposing player a diving cunt, but when our own Uruguayan embarassment gets some stick from us some people kick off. It's fucked.

Have you fucking seen that thing he did yesterday? It was utterly pitiful. And it's ok to say so you know.

No one's really kicking off, are they? It's been pointed out that kicking shit out of someone is morally wrong too, but largely goes unpunished and is condemned even less.

Most people have said it's a shit dive and he does himself no favours.

I'm not moralising, he's costing us points and making the club look even worse, carrying on from last year.

He's the best player we have but something of a toxic asset.

How is he costing us points ? I'd say our dodgy defending and keeping and our overall lack of talent is more likely to be costing us points than one of the few talented, albeit divey, players we have.

Criticising the dive is one thing, and as Mark says plenty of posters have done that. Terminology like "Uruguayan embarrassment", though, indicates that you have a wider agenda, which is to have a pop at Suarez for its own sake, and that this issue is just a convenient peg for you to hang that on. THAT's what naffs the rest of us off, and rightly so.

By equal token, some of the witch hunting is bollocks aswell. No one fucking moaned last week when he tore Norwich a new one, or when he came on and whipped in a fantastic freekick. It's always the same posters waiting to put the boot in and get all moralistic about it, the same one's who cream over other European players who are equally renowned for diving. Take the rough with the smooth. Someone should have a word and get him or even coach him to be more clever with it, but that's about it.

The dive was awful and he should rightly be embarrassed. It does sometimes feel like some take greater pleasure into criticising the over dramatic nature of one of our only talented players than pointing out the sheer thuggery and pitiful refereeing that took place yesterday. I don't agree with what Suarez did yesterday it was plain sad but he wants to win badly and it comes from desperation at times. That does not make it right, it's not and he needs to stop it. The same desperation became evident from some of the fans in the ground yesterday - fuck me I've never heard so many laughable cries of handball and penalty as I did towards the end of the game yesterday.

Still, we could always sell him Suarez. I mean, we're absolutely shitting goals and chances at the moment. After all, we did score 5 goals against the great teams of Norwich and Young Boys

The way Whitehead and Huth both stamped him on two different occassions yesterday without even close to a booking, I can understand that he fall easy sometimes. I don't like it, but am ready to forgive him. He does 98% of the time a wonderful job for us,.

And this is the crux of it for me, it's one thing looking like a twat being overdramatic to try to get an edge on an appointment. How does that even some even to being stamped on? It doesn't, but people condemning Suarez aren't really pointing out what's essentially violent cowardice. Quelle surprise.

By not getting legitimate pens. If I was a ref I'd have to see someone take a chainsaw to him to give us a pen now. He's a cheat and it's costing us.

You could say that he was the one in the position to get the pens in the first place but that's what he's meant to do, that's his job, and if he didn't cheat he'd be a more effective player.

I wouldn't drop him or anything, we can't afford to, he's the best player we have, but he could be a better player with zero extra effort at all and it's frustrating.

Course it is, as is his tendency to try to take on one player too many. He needs to learn, but I'm not going to crucify for him for it.

It's also Borini's job and all the other attacking players we have. It doesn't happen for them though, does it?

With Suarez you just have to take the good with the bad. United fans had to with Ronaldo - many of them didn't like his antics either. They sure appreciated the winning though.

The problem isn't Suarez. It's the team of losers around him.

All this silly western duality. Why is it one or the other? It's both.

I didnt see the match. Does anyone have a link to the stamp by Huth and the whitehead attack on Sterling?

The way Suarez has been targeted is a problem and it's because as a club we're too soft. This would never happen at Utd or Chelsea - we know that for a fact.

Drogba was worse than Suarez for diving and although villified on fan forums etc. he always got what he wanted on the pitch.

All top players are cheating cunts because they want to win.

I love Messi and he's generally a good guy but his card waving trying to get Alonso sent off yesterday was a disgrace. Ronaldo we all know about. Aguero will dive if he has to. Everyone at United has been taught to win at all costs. Other fans reckon Gerrard is a diver. And so on and so on and so on.

If you want to cut out the cheating, we should just sign a few more Hendersons and Downings and stay midtable forever.

If its a foul its a foul, regardless of diving or not in the past.
Refs not giving a penalty because of previous is even more morally wrong.

Suarez cant win. Shame the dive happened yesterday as he was behaving better

I'd say it's because Suarez is so shit at it. He should watch a few videos of how people actually fall over and get his bird to film his nobhead starfish efforts in the garden and then compare until he gets a more natural technique, a la Gerrard or Torres.

He could have won. The club did a clever PR job to put pressure on refs, and the media were actually starting to take his side - then the idiot undoes all the hard work. If he'd just behaved properly for a couple more games the tide would have turned.

Jesus Holy Christ!

Pulis has the nerve to bring up the Suarez dive after that assault by Huth.
As I see that clip he actually stamped on Suarez's chest.

Pulis is a fucking wanker. I reckon last night he will have got bored of El Classico and stuck his Bluray of the Incredible Hulk on again instead. But this isn't about Huth and the other ultimate soldiers in that shitstain of a team, it's about our cheat, not theirs.

That I can agree with!

I was thinking of what you said the other day, while watching Suarez' embarassing show...
But fair enough...

We should have sold him last summer.
