Didn't the Firm say about 10 days ago that the deal was done and there would just be some media nonsense to show RB put up a fight before losing him ?

I'm suspicious

So anyway..... wouldn't wanting Naby under the sea mean in effect wanting to drown him?

Which would at least bring an end to this titanic chess battle of transfer grandmasters.....

..... and make Doc a racist!!!!

If you think that's hilarious check this out:

The Firm is giving away too much, I got them figured out:
The Firm is actually the third party ownership type of company, like the one that used to own Tevez and Mascherano. They're buying Keita and selling/loaning him to Liverpool.

Reports: Leipzig perform U-turn on Keita to Liverpool stance

RB Leipzig have reportedly had a change of heart that could see Naby Keita complete a move to Liverpool after all.
Reports from German outlet Bild suggest that Leipzig may be set to perform a dramatic U-turn after rejecting bids of £57m and £66m.

Tensions inside the club are high as Keita landed himself in hot water after a “brutal” tackle on teammate Diego Demme in Austria, which caused the training session to be called off.
The report states that whilst he has apologised for the incident, his effort in training has shifted with his heart reportedly set on a move to Merseyside.
This comes after news on Tuesday that Liverpool would shelve their efforts to sign Naby Keita until next summer as they wait on RB Leipzig to respond to their third-and-final offer for the player.
Having seen bids of £58million and £66million rejected by the Bundesliga side, the Reds are reported to have contacted Leipzig once again with a take-it-or-leave-it offer of £74million.
Their third-and-final bid of £74million would not only smash Liverpool’s club record – currently the £36.9m paid for Mohamed Salah earlier this summer – but would also represent a Bundesliga record.
They continue to state that while sporting director Ralph Rangnick was previously adamant that the 22-year-old would not be sold, he is now believed to be searching for a successor.
Leipzig, who finished second in the Bundesliga and qualified for the Champions League, were hoping that the Guinean international would stay around, however interest from the Premier League appears to have turned his head.[

Yeah I don't get the searching for a successor comment. I thought they already had him in the shape of Konrad Laimer?

The plan was to have them both for a year before Keita moved on.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if we managed to pull this off now but don't expect us to. For all the press speculation, the noises emanating from Leipzig have never suggested anything other than he isn't for sale. Saying that, we must have had some encouragement to make an offer in the first place, let alone two.
