Keita is a good call - he's the only one I think who's had staying power with Pep.

I’m not buying this all Spaniards are racist line, it simply isn’t true, at least not in my experience of seeing it and living there. Spain is still a more homogenous culture than the UK and it is not necessarily so heavily frowned upon to utter things which people in the UK would consider racist. I used to drink in a bar called cafe Negrito for example, it is true that Hispanic culture is certainly linguistically quite different. Its not just Spain either, I was with an Italian girl for 7 years, she was intelligent well educated etc and certainly not racist in any noticeable way but once I remember her picking up an Asian toddler in a playground and calling the kid “little yellow” in Italian. When all that Suarez vs Evra shite boiled over it rang in my head somewhat, they have a quite different definition of racist. I personally doubt very much that Pep is a racist, he comes over very well and he has had black team mates as players alongside him and under his command, I just don’t see it personally but he has clearly had a few run ins with Toure. It’s an odd one.
I think Guardiola has a serious problem with egos. Everyone in his team has to be a slave to the system. It is why he liked the players who were already indoctrinated in the Barca way, and the comparatively less talented Busquets was preferred to Yaya. It is part of the reason why Ibra was bunged out almost immediately after being bought for Barca too.
