.... and then party like it was, er, last year. It's my last weekend in the big city before moving to the boonies so I plan on not surviving Saturday night. Sunday will be spent enjoying people mourning my demise.

I posted that in the Weekend Plans thread. Little did I know it nearly came literally true.

I suffered an opioid overdose after the bar last night, went into respiratory arrest and was code blue for thirty seconds. Thank god my friends were quick thinking, took care of me and got me to the hospital fast. The hospital staff administered Narcan and brought me out of it.

Very happy to be alive today. Puts a lot of things in perspective.
