Howard Webb is a cunt

Did any one spot that although we got two penos yesterday ( and should have had three as Studge was blantantly tripped prior to Coutinhos miss in the first half ) it was the linesman who gave both of them. This despite Webb having a perfect view of all three. No conspiracy theory going here, but is he just incompetent to miss not one but three penos?

Playing devil's advocate (as webb IS a cunt), he might have been the ideal distance, but I'm not sure he had the perfect angle every time, and to be fair he 'could' have overruled the lino saying he was in a better position.

ha! i didnt know it was tge linesmen... cheeky cunt Webb! i thought that first block tackle on sturridge was a definite pen.... although we were certainly looking for them yesdy.

I don't really know what to think on the issue of Webb's bias or otherwise, but I do think he's massively overrated in parts of the media.

I pointed it out in the match thread. No one said a thing

*sulks*

Plus the cunt is an employee of SYP.

Soz sp69, I didn't see that 😳

You do have to wonder about him when he had a brilliant view of all three of them. The SYP thing justs adds to his cuntishness rather than any conspiracies if you ask me

I was at the game yesterday and noticed this too. For the first pen, he was behind the Swansea player so couldn't see the motion that the linesman flagged for I thought. We were behind that lino and it looked blatant from that angle (although did look a bit softer on a replay) so in Webb's defence that one is probably forgivable. That he missed the other 2, especially how close he was to Sturridge defies belief and I've already emailed the FA about it.

Take your point on the Suarez foul, although it looked as if he did have a view of it The Sturridge one was right in front of him - he couldn't get a better view and it was absolutely blatant, I'm mystified why he didn't give that. He seems to miss loads whoever's playing - how he is rated as a good ref is beyond me.
