Wolves are also interested, apparently.
Considering the money we paid, the players attitude and history, yeah I'd probably go with that too.At the risk of hyperbole, the worst signing in the history of Liverpool football Club.
That's a thread all of its own.At the risk of hyperbole, the worst signing in the history of Liverpool football Club.
I don't know, I'd be inclined to say joint-worst along with Diouf! Diouf might just shade it, considering he was signed in preference to Anelka. At the risk of hyperbole, the worst signing in the history of Liverpool football Club.
I'd still say Diouf trumps Aquilani. Neither offered anything for their respective fees, but at least Aquilani behaved himself.I call your Diouf and raise you Aquilani
Absolutely. Some terrible transfers in there. I have less disdain for Carroll than the rest, at least he was bought for a tactical purpose (Dalglish was clearly trying to go old school with a big man/little man double act up top and wingers) and he had that game against Man City where he looked good at least. It's depressing that there is quite a lot of competition.
Carroll, Balotelli, Aquilani and Benteke complete non-entities who did next to nothing at the club. Diouf unfortunately made you wish he was anonymous.
It's even worse when you think of the players that lot followed. No wonder we've been failing for so long.
All it would do is make him unavailable to actually sell him, reducing his salary by the pittance they could afford is pointless. Anyway this is semantics because he would never go to either of them !I don't agree. A small contribution is better than no contribution, and just getting the great lump out of Anfield will have a value all of its own.
