Currently 10th on our all time list with 133 goals

Rush 346
Hunt 285
Hodgson 241
Liddell 228
Gerrard 186
Fowler 183
Kenny 172
Owen 158
Chambers 151
Salah 133

He’ll pass Chambers this season and if stays til the end of his career I can see him getting as high as third but surpassing Gerrard would be an amazing achievement considering the age he signed for us.

Passing Gerrard is doable, getting to 200 is maybe a stretch. I just hope he stays whatever he ends up with !

Salah seems to take care of his body. If we get 3-4 more years of him he'll definitely bypass Gerrard.

67 more to hit 200. He's been averaging like 30 a season for us so far. So if he stays another 3 seasons, I think 200 is definitely on the cards.

I think he is in the form he could hit 40 in all comps this season. Catch 22 in that I think the better he performs the less chance his agent will agree a contract our lizards will be prepared to grant.

If we win the PL / CL this year, Salah really should be in the running for Ballon D'Or. High time he's considered for it at least. Ridiculously good player.

He's 29. I'd expect him to stay at this level for another season, two at most. Then it's likely we'll see a drop off. I absolutely hope you are right and I'm wrong though !

I can see that being done and dusted well before it gets to that stage. I'd be surprised if it's not signed by January.

More and more, players across different sports are now extending their careers well into their 30s. Salah is a top class physical specimen with elite conditioning, tremendous work ethic and discipline. I won't give the example of Messi and Ronaldo, but take even players like Lewandowski or Vardy - they're still incredibly productive despite being well into their 30s. I see no reason Salah won't be either.

There's always the threat of a bad impact injury, but I guess that's a threat at any age.

This first part is exactly why I'm happy if we make him our highest ever paid player, he doesn't drink or smoke, takes ridiculous care of himself, he's got another three years playing at the level of best winger on the planet.

Except when he’s not out partying during the middle of a pandemic and testing positive…twice.

Lol at the Vardy example.

I reckon he will end up somewhere around Stevie or Robbies numbers. But it really depends on how long he stays, if he extends his contract for a few more years he could get to 200 which would make him by far our most prolific in the PL era.

Agreed - Vardy is a good example of a pacey attacker still doing the business aged 33/34

He drinks bottles of port/wine and eats pizza the night before a game and on game day has 3 cans of red bull before kick off.

Hardly a shining light example of professional players lengthening their careers with smart choices.

Milner is a great example at Liverpool.

DIxie Dean used to go to the match on the bus with the fans, smoking woodbine, had 8 or 9 pints and a couple of pies before kick off and another 3 pints and 3 woodbine at half time. Not sure he had a chin as pointy as Vardy's though
