The nose picker is leaving the German national side after the Euros...

Put yourself in his shoes. His mother just died. He can't leave the country. Might want to be closer to his extended family. Seems like the right time.
He made LFC the champions of everything.
Job done.
I'm not certain he'll go but it wouldn't surprise me.

I don't see how he could make his style of play work with the limited time you have with the players on the training ground for international games.

I hope.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was offered and he took it. He'd have been here 7 years, often his life cycle that he has talked about in the past. When is his contract until 2023??

German supporters have been wanting Lowe gone for upwards of eighteen months. This could be to placate them as much as anything else. I'm sure they'll speak to Klopp, of course, but he said recently he's full of energy and determination to build us back again, and signed a new deal not too long ago. Of course COVID and grief could have caused a shift in priorities, but I'd be surprised if now was when he would take on the job. He always wanted 12 months off after Liverpool. Whilst international management is not as intense, Klopp would not have any break were he to leave us at the end of the season. I'm also sure he wouldn't want to be a manager who bailed twice on teams through choice after poor seasons.

I wouldn't begrudge him after all he's done for us, but I'm confident he'll be here next season.

Fair points ... I hope the below is what keeps him here:
1) Loyalty to his players, club and city - he doesn't want to leave the club his way.
2) He gave us #19 but he wanted to celebrate it - he said it a few times. He'll want to celebrate #20 when our world settles down.
3) He's a man of contracts

I wouldn't have anything against him if he left ... but I think he's a very principled, ethical man and I don't think he'll jump at this op.

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but something doesn't feel right.
The players look disgruntled, Klopp looks frustrated. Gini leaving, the front three not clicking and Salah has apparently started to act out.
Klopp being denied Werner and delayed regarding the signing of a CB in January.
Then it's all the other things I mentioned in my previous post.
Just doesn't seem to be a happy place right now.

I have never ever seen LFC lose 5 games in a row at home, doesn't matter how bad it has been before.

Anyone who thinks Klopp will stay if he's offered the Germany job is dreaming.

We may as well get used to it.

To be honest, if FSG isn't going to back him up with actions, there's not much point of him staying, isn't it? He has already done the "impossible". He did it with Dortmund too. 13 years - he probably would have had enough of it (being underdogs to the wealthier clubs). I would have imagined that he would have habour the hope of being able to build something here after the title triumph.

But if Klopp leaves...is Gerrard really the right option?
I think everyone knows who I want.
