Hi All
Been a long time and a much seems to be happening. Are we in trouble or what ? - these American owners and Parry's parting gift in making them in charge of our club has really f*cked us up. With the likes of Real, Chelsea, Barca, United, and City, Milan getting all that money what bloody chance do we honestly have ? - thank God for Wenger at arsenal who does not like spending money otherwise we would be in serious trouble.
Looking across the globe there are not that many outstanding players to chose from and many of them are quite young and there are no gurantees that they could play in any league. We have so many issues to deal with and as someone has already said - we will be lucky to keep our existing gems at the club with the mony now changing hands. Seriously when you hear that £80M and £53M is changing hands - its really difficult to see how we can compete or buy any player that would be a first choice player for us.
At this moment in time its worrying that there is attention on Macha, and Alonso who are two of our key players and essential to our progression. How do we deal with all this chaps ? - what hope for next year, we badly need a player who is like 3 players in one to breakdown those defences that put 10 men behind the ball - otherwise its going to be the same as last year - i.e. just not good enough. If such a player exists - we probably cannot afford him.
Regards,
Moron
