In terms of how many he’s scored per season, he’s right up there isn’t he? But yeah hopefully he’s finished. But he looks finished at the start of all seasons then improves unfortunately.

This is nothing new. All fucking players - especially strikers - have this reflexive response to a reduction in speed, mobility, power or whatever and they move to a different position.
A reduction in goals is explained by "adapting my game to become more involved in the build-up play" because they can't make the runs they used to to get into goalscoring positions. Or players dropping deeper and deeper so they become midfielders.

I saw some fucking ridiculous "price list" of world players a few months back and Kane was listed up in the top 5 most valuable players in the world. Bollox, total bollox.
He is really good at diving, a la a number of his teammates, and positionally he is really good, he does read the game well but above all of that he is a fucking Spurs player and Spurs are shit and always will be fucking nothing compared to us, yes that is a biased statement but I am biased and that's why I'm on a fansite dedicated to Liverpool and not fucking Spurs...

Michael Owen averaged 22 goals a season for 7 years on the bounce at Liverpool, and that's taking into account his injury-ravaged 1999-2000 season.
If you remove that, his average goes up to 24. That's pretty good.

Actually I was right. Owens best league return was 19 goals twice.
In the last four years Kane’s worst was 21 and steadily improved to 30 last season.
Total goals Owens best was 28, Kane’s worst was 28 and his best 41.
He’s a superb striker by all accounts regardless of what people think of him as a person
To make a fair comparison, you should divide their goals by the total goals scored by all the teams in the league for that season. That way you can factor out how easy or difficult scoring goals was in that period of time. If you did that, I'd wager that Owen would come out ahead, because he was forced to create and finish many of his own chances in days when teams rarely played with a number 10, let alone with banks of three of them doing nothing but feeding the striker all game.
