Hodgson should be given warm reception.

Something like he can't be a good manager if he's just been sacked by Galatasaray

Exactly that. What a dickhead of a remark.

Warm reception my arse. Whereas it's not in my nature to jeer and boo there's no fucking way on this Earth he's getting any shape of warm reception from me. I can't stand the doddering auld cunt. It wasn't his fault we signed him but the buck stops there. They way he conducted his business completely sickened me. The defeatist attitude, the bullshit comments, his complete ineptitude, his lack of guts, his piss poor tactics and, worst of all, his reoccurring ability to blame everyone else - fans, players and club while refusing to take any of the blame. The cheeky cunt even had the audacity to claim Kenny was seeing some of the benefits of his hard work. He was a disaster and in way over his head but just didn't have the guts to admit it.

He can fuck right off. If he was still in charge we'd be fighting relegation, not fighting for a European place and this club may be irreparably broken. I seriously cannot stand him and have no respect nor sympathy for him whatsoever because of the sly arse way he conducted himself. I've never felt that way about a Liverpool manager before. I hope we give West Brom and Roy and severe twatting tomorrow. After all, even if we do, none of it will be his fault.

tomorrow, when sunny gets off the fence, he'll tell us how he 'really' feels.

We should treat him exactly the same as when he was manager.

"Dalglish! Dalglish! Dalglish! Dalglish!"

We certainly shouldn't lower ourselves to giving him stick, but neither do I think we need feel obliged to give him a warm reception. He's just another manager of an opposition team now.

It should be warm, but it won't and couldn't possibly be tearful.

I think you've spoken my true feelings, but I think courtesy is the way forward on this one.

I'd be disappointed if our fans were openly unkind to him. I hope that we rise above it all, greet him warmly and then stop focussing on him.

He may have been shit, but he didn't want to be. He would have loved to be a great manager for us.

Arf. Or we could have a mass rubbing of faces.

Hahahahahahahahaha. OK, if the fans do that then obviously laughter, and a lot of it, would be the only appropriate response.

If he has any ability to see the funny side of himself he would laugh too.

Fucking hell.

What a moron.

That was out of the same stable as the sh!te Roy spouted about Rafa not allowing Kenny into Melwood, and what he said about being "disappointed" that Kenny had gone for the manager's job because "it was never going to happen for him". He knew he was being compared unfavourably with these guys and hit back in the only way he could think of. What it showed was that he was too small a man, as well as too limited a manager, to cope with the pressure.
