Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson admits he prefers to play in centre midfield, but is more than happy to play wherever asked.

“Hendo”, signed from Sunderland this summer, was answering questions put to him by fans via Twitter for The FA’s official website.

Watch the video below to see what else he had to say, including who gets along with best at Anfield, his unbeaten record on the new Fifa, and what he thinks of his chances of making next summer’s European Championship squad.

TBH we might as well try him there, not like he's ripped shit up out wide

Lucas/spearing Gerrard/adam
Hendo/gerrard

Pity he doesn't still prefer to play at Sunderland.

Joke.

though to be fair I am still in the "Cheyrou will come good" camp and he will captain us to the Premiership

Ah me too count.

He has plenty In his locker to make it here. He just needs to try impact games instead of watching them drift by.

Oh,I meant what I was saying was a joke, not the poor Jordo was a joke. But I presume everyone got that.

He's young yet and hopefully there's a lot more to come from him. It doesn't mean he has to play every game though.

I honestly think he's got 'it'.

He did little to impress me the first few games, but grew gradually in confidence & stature & rarely put a foot wrong.

Whilst he hasn't set the world alight, he makes very good runs & has shown he can supply & get into positions to score, & possesses a mentality that belies his age.

I think he's right, he's more suited to playing centrally IMO, but I'm sure his time will come.

Quite I much prefer him in the centre. Even against Tottenham, he looked more like he belonged there. I'd like to see him play ahead of Adam/Lucas in a few games, in the Gerrard role lets say.

If by 'it' you mean the ability of Bruno Cheyrou then yes he's got it.

Ha, you really think that?

Give it time, he'll be miles better than Cheyrou.

7th min: Jordan Henderson. England go two up inside seven minutes, this time captain Jordan Henderson scores after a Chamberlain delivery from the right is played back across goal from Barkley.

He's got a decent eye for a quick pass/through ball at times, but all too often he keeps the ball too long, makes the easiest of passes without taking responsibility and is pretty slow.
The 'Gerrard role' would be a tough ask for a world class talent, never mind Joe ordinary Henderson.
I just can't see what he excels at, couldn't see it at Sunderland and certainly can't see it at Liverpool.
