Can anyone help with 3 tickets for the Napoli game on the 4th November?

I've been patiently waiting to buy online, but they've extended the Fancard sales for another week and I'm afraid I might miss out

🙁

ONe of the missus' colleagues wants to watch his first ever game; and I now find myself in the position Spion Kop was in 2 months ago. 8)

He's a bit shite since his LFC support is a bit half-arsed, but I'm planning to change that.

I'm not going Avvy, but I will ask the boys if they intend to, and if they arent I can get them to pick up a couple for you.

Avvy, there is still loads of availibility of tickets for this match. I doubt if it will be a sell out.
I would be amazed if some of the local lads like Sunny, Crump etc can't get you the tickets you need.

I have a couple of membership cards and you are welcome to use those if you wish. I can post them to you in England and then after the match you can send them back to me. I also have a fan card linked to my membership card but I donf know if that will give you access to the ground or if you will need a paper ticket issued from the ticket office on the fancard.

Might ultimately be easier to get tickets of one of the Anfield locals but I am happy to help if you want.

Avvy - you can use my fancard number if you want mate. How many tickets is it ? One per card?

Thanks, Sunny and SG...but I don't want to take anyone's ticket if you're going..?

I hope there's still lots available, but if not I'd be in yer collective debts for the help..

Um, how do you buy a ticket with the fancard? :-[

Count : thanks as well, but I don't want to put yer out,mate..

It's no bother Avvy.
A membership card, as you probably know already, is a smart card and you can swipe it in the machine in order to enter through the turnstyles.
A fan card is the forerunner to the membership card and while you can purchase tickets as a fancard holer, the card itself (I don't think) can't be used to access the ground. When you buy a ticket on a fancard the ticket office issues you with a paper ticket.

I think I'm in trouble.

I can't buy tickets through the online site, and I've been waiting since last week, but the site's down now for maintenance even thoughh it was supposed to be open for general sale from today.

Season Ticket holders, Members and Fan Card holders will be able to purchase up to a maximum of 4 tickets each from 2.00pm on Tuesday 19th October for our match against SSC Napoli to be played on the 4th of November.

Supporters should note that tickets will not be available for purchase via the ticket office or on the turnstiles on the day of the game. Subject to availability further announcements will be made in due course."

Does one use the Fancard over the phone?

I think my English is OK, but there's no way I can pass for a local, and I don't want to get anyone in trouble if I use a SCM Fancard.

I'm not panicking yet but...HHEELLPP!!!

Stop panicking Avvy 😉
Your fancard will suffice over the phone as far as I know.
And if they can understand me when I ring them then you should have no bother with your accent.

You can ring up and quote the fancard number, I think you will need the first line of the address also. They will send the tickets to the address of the card holder.

Everything's sorted.

Many thanks to Sunny for the help (again), and to everyone else on here especially SG and the count (who's practically given me a tutorial on the different types of tickets)

Now I have to try really hard to get the missus and her friend gee'd up for the game.

The missus is pretty much stuck with me, but another Blackpool-like performance is likly to send her friend up the East Lanc.
