Our next seven fixtures:

21 December - Wigan v Liverpool, 20:00
26 December - Liverpool v Blackburn, 15:00
30 December - Liverpool v Newcastle, 19:45
3 January - Man City v Liverpool, 20:00
6 January - Liverpool v Oldham, R3, 20:00
11 January - Man City v Liverpool, SF, L1, 19:45
14 January - Liverpool v Stoke, 15:00

7 games in 25 days

No this isn't a prediction thread, just wondering in which games Kenny should rest key players in order to get the best result out of these next few games.
He can't possibly play the same team in every game.

Personally?

Wigan - Best team
Blackburn - Squad players
Newcastle - Best team
Man City - Best team
Oldham - Squad players, even reserves
Man City - Best team
Stoke - Best team

21 December - Wigan v Liverpool, -Win
26 December - Liverpool v Blackburn, Win
30 December - Liverpool v Newcastle, Win
3 January - Man City v Liverpool, Win/Draw
6 January - Liverpool v Oldham, Win
11 January - Man City v Liverpool, Win/Draw
14 January - Liverpool v Stoke, Win

If we have put that run together after that lot, which we should!, then I will be made up.

If we win every game (even beat Man C away) we'd be in the race to win the league.

I'll be pissed off if we play a ressie team in the cup.

I wouldn't be too happy about that either but we might not have a choice.

We must win the FA Cup. I love it.

1. League
2. Old' Big Ears (not this year)
3. FA Cup
4. 4th place
5. UEFA Cup
6. League Cup
7. The rest

Not saying your order is wrong but it's crap that getting 4th , fucking 4th , is more important than winning the Uefa or League Cup . I loved some of our League Cup wins in years gone and also our Uefa cup win in '01 , which for me was one of the last yrs when the comp had any real respect ...i mean we beat barca , porto , a league winning Roma on the way to winning it .

So why is 4th so important ? because it gives us a chance to win Champions league or more cause of the money ?

The money, attracting big name players and playing in the biggest club competition in the world.

Yeah 4th is more important than winning the League cup but don't know about the UEFA cup though.

If we take 13/15 out of 15 (as above), then maybe. I would say it likely puts us in 3rd with still somewhere in the region of 6-9 points to make up (assuming UTD and City's momentum continues).

We do seem to be constantly improving, so I'd hope the silly dropped points has stopped now and that we win the games we should. We should be looking/expecting to beat all, bar City, if we are to be considered top 4 material, never mind title contenders.

Rotation is only likely to happen upfront. The rest of the team are pretty settled and we'll probaby see an appearance or two by Kelly, Spearing and Maxi. If Suarez is banned then obviously Carroll.

Our best team should be played. Let's take it a game at a time and not get ahead of ourselves. If there was ever a time we needed a run, its now. A Gerrard return is just the tonic we need.
