Haye Vs Valuev

I also hope Hatton retires.

The "getting really fat between fights" is boring now.

Oh, and I hope Floyd vs Manny does happen. Floyd will destroy him.

Yeah that's the interview LadyRed.
Cotto is gonna be a big test for Manny I think. Cotto in my mind is undefeated, cos although he lost to Margarito, Margarito probably used plaster of paris in his gloves. I'm gonna wait and see how Manny performs against Cotto before making a prediction on a Mayweather fight.
Haha at Fatton. I have a sneaky feeling he will have 1 last fight.

Because Pac-man is massively overrated. He is good, but no where near as good as is being made out. He's been KO'd twice from memory. Even Hatton wobbled him initially (before getting fucking flattened of course).

Manny is good but Floyd is in another league.

Manny has mixed it with the best (De La Hoya, Marquez, Hatton, Barrera, Dias, Morales) and come out on top, so I think he deserves to be considered the best pound for pound fighter right now. He was a touch raw earlier on his career but since teaming up with Freddie Roach, he's a much improved fighter.
Mayweather is a class fighter too, no doubt about it, and I think is a great technician in the ring.
As for Hatton, wobbling him initially, I dont remember that but Hatton was gone in 2 rounds. Mayweather had a much more brutal encounter taking 10 rounds to defeat Hatton.

Did you see Haye's wife, I mean, really?
This is so funny to me.

Ah, good old Neets !

What a fascinating fight. I was thoroughly impressed with Haye and delighted that he won. He deserved to, as there was only one man in that ring who was actually boxing. He really did make Valuev, with his continuous jabbing of thin air, look very silly. What impressed me most was his sound technical and strategic approach to the fight, which may have been forced upon him by tha hand injury. He mad his name as an explosive power puncher, but last night he looked boxed cleverly. He's the best thing to have happend to the heavy weight division for years; I have mates who after years were keen to watch a heavy weight fight for the first time and they all came over.

The only blot on the night was that idiot Watt; his voice was irritating to say the least and his commentary was poor.

I thought that was total shit last night.

I'm not sure if that should actually be classed as a fight. Maybe 20 punches landed in 12 rounds?

Buffer is king. Can we get him as a mod here?
Bruce Buffer (UFC announcer) his half-brother is almost as good. Not quite, but almost.

Haye's wife isn't "all that".
She looked like a skinnier Anna Friel. Only completely coked up, I couldnt believe she was so high whilst she knew the cameras would be on her.

A skinny, coked-up Anna Friel sounds fucking perfect to me
Ha! Well, I certainly wouldnt complain!

After that Marquez fight they put Floyd in a ridiculous situation, trying to goad him into a slanging match with Mosley and making him look a twat for not fighting him. The HBO guys made a right balls up of it.

It would have been better if Floyd just said Shane is shit and Manny is better.
That was such a joke, and the radio interview that you've mentioned D.Win was the same. They're trying to make out Floyd's ducking Mosely and that this fight should be his next move. If he goes ahead with the Mosely fight the same people will accuse him of ducking Manny. He needs to fight Manny next everyone knows that. Although he needs to get past Cotto next week, which should be interesting. Manny's made a right mess of his training camp leading up to this fight and has fallen out with Roach a few times too apparently.

I can't wait for Floyd to beat Manny.

I hear what you're saying LadyRed. I wasn't particularly impressed with Floyd against Marquez but as it was his first fight back after his break from the sport you can make allowances. You are right in that he will only shut up his detractors by beating the current pound for pound king which is Manny. I'll be cheering on Manny if that fight ever happens.
Have you been watching the HBO 24/7 shows for the Manny/Cotto fight? There certainly was some disharmony in the camp, especially in the Philippines. And whats with the feud between the fitness coach and that other guy in the camp who Roach also seems to dislike.

Yeah, seen some of the clips from the 24/7's, Cotto's coming across well, Manny seems distracted. I do love Freddie Roach, he makes me like Manny more.

But Manny V Floyd, I'm team Mayweather all the way. Although if Manny loses to Cotto there's an argument to be made about whether that really is the right fight for Mayweather to take.

You gonna be getting up for it? It's not Box Office
