Thats the thing though Anita he wasn't fighting at that stage, he was just taking an unnecessary beating in a fight that was long ago lost. I can understand that PM would have wanted to have stayed until the end, but why take the risk of suffering long term damage when its not needed?

Those certainly weren't his sentiments immediately after the fight, he was irritated that they pulled him as he didn't want it to go down as a KO.

I guess it made sense to pull him , but like I said, it's not really true to Malignaggi as a fighter and as a character.

Incidentally, he only seemed to be jabbing with his left hand again, not sure if his right hasn't recovered fully from his last op, or if he's just not confident enough to punch with it now. It's hard to see a future for a boxer who only has one hand. Ah, I was so disappointed for him.

Those were his comments the morning after the fight.

He's got no future in boxing. If he does carry on he might as well put a big target on his face saying "hit here" and wear a good pair of running trainers into the ring.
 
Unless he gets his right hand sorted, I agree, he's going nowhere.

I'm so so disappointed with his performance on Saturday, he really is better than that.

It's true.

He's done some playboy stuff allready and has said that he thinks he'll give the porno work a go once his boxing career is over. I guess in 2009 thats what he'll be doing.

I wanted to twat that Mallinaggi lad myself when he was asked for a pre fight prediction, his reply was "Mallinaggi domination". I was annoyed that Hatton didn't take his head off.

And I never said he would beat Hatton, I just said I hoped he would and that he might be able to cause Hatton some problems, turns out he was poor on the night and didn't. Oh well.
