Harry Wilson

Getting anywhere near £10m would be a success here. Clearly not going to cut it at the hightest level.

Those series of wonderstrikes a couple of years ago made me think he could maybe be decent for a lower table premier league team. Or even a midtable team as a player you'd throw on when you need a goal. Not to be I guess.

He's the kind of player whom in NFL you'd have on the bench and sub on for kicks at goal, but his general play isn't LFC standard. I don't think 15 mill.is unreasonable though - no need to give him away.

How would losing Wilson and neco impact us regarding the minimum amount of 'homegrown' players quota?

Neco is under 21, so doesn't count towards any quota. Wilson does count as homegrown, but we didn't use him last year, and I doubt we have any intention of ever using him.

I'd be more concerned if we lost Phillips though.

We need a min of 8 homegrown:
Kelleher
TAA
Gomez
Nat
Davies
Milner
Hendo
Ox

Releasing Joe Hardy opened up a space for one player to be added - which might mean Wilson or Woodburn could be registered.

This is why I don’t believe we’ll be selling the likes of Oz, Gomez, Davies or Nat - because we’d have to buy homegrown replacements to keep a full squad.
