We are being mentioned though. It kept coming up on the radio this a.m.and I've seen at least one newspaper reference today. Won't happen though - I can't see us paying the Monopoly money that Levy will hold out for.

I can see this ending up like the Zaha situation at Palace - he'd leave tomorrow if he could, but they've obv.priced him out of the market. Either that or the Glazers go all in for Kane to try and placate the anti-Glazer faction among their fans.

There is certainly an element of truth to that. People get worked up by this season and the lack of a title defence (understandably), but with the off-field considerations and this season highlighting our dependancy on a few players, I think it's remarkable that CL qualification is in our own hands. I dread to think of the last 5 years without Klopp.
