I saw this the other day, what on earth happens here? It's like a shooting gallery, all the players stand back and don't care, and his shot swerves like nobodies business, weird.

At least part of the reason was that it was in the 91st minute and Dortmund were down 2-0 already to Hamburg (who is in the relegation zone) and I'm sure the Dortmund players were already sulking a bit at the prospect of losing to Hamburg.
But mostly I just don't think anyone thought he would have the audacity to try a shot on target. Does seem like something Suarez would try though.
I think that's very harsh on the keeper. The movement on the ball is unreal, and, when seen in real time, he hits the ball with some power too. Great goal.

I don't think you can blame the keeper on that one, it's like trying to predict where one of these is going
I read about that goal earlier and people were trying to make out the way he hit that ball is a skill but is it really? I know Ronaldo used to kick the ball at the valve or something to get it to move but it only worked at a guess about 1 in 20 times. Probably better off just being a good freekick taker like Suarez or Toure.
Yup. If he'd have shuffled over when the ball began to deviate he would have saved it comfortably. Instead he stayed rooted to the spot and tried to leap at the last minute.
There's no doubt that the ball moved horribly, but he judged it poorly.
Firstly, what's all this metres stuff? It's yards, man. Second, why are footballs getting more and more like beach ball every fucking year. Stop fucking around with the ball!

That's harsh. In real time, the ball is in the back of the net in 1 second. No keeper would have been anticipating that. And if you watch it, he's a little off his line. His first reaction is to take a step back so he can tip it up I suppose, but then it swerves wickedly and very late. I can't think many keepers would have saved that. And if they did, it would be a truly world class save.
