Haha if I enjoy watching Rooney play - I accept that he's a massive twat, but he doesn't bother me and I don't find him particularly offensive.

I used to hate Drogba, but he's a great player and he does an awful lot for charity. I think he built a hospital in The Ivory Coast recently. I admire that.

True, some aspects of United are indeed admirable and deserving respect but still i do hate* them.

It's the vainglorious nature of them, the pumped up hyperbole of the place the "Theatre of dreams", George fucking Best, Busby babes would still be winning the league now if they had not sadly perished.... I fucking hate that shit... the presumption that they are the only team with any sense of style or glory. The biggest the best the most glamorous etc etc etc.... fuck off.... after twenty uncontested ( by us) years of gathering league titles they still haven't ( yet) overtaken us.... up until the dawn of Sky TV, which was basically MUTV for its first 10 years or so, they were no bigger than us it's a fucking myth.

I fucking hate* United.

They are in many ways an anti-Liverpool, but you are right there are lots of classy things that they do behind the scenes that other clubs could emulate for the better.

*Up until 6 years ago I had never experienced real hate. Unfortunately i began to work for somebody who had allowed themselves to be completely corrupted by greed to such an extent that she had no respect for anything or anybody, at the end of our working relationship I thought that i had experienced hate for the first time and it genuinely was not a pleasant emotion or experience. I don't hate united in a real tangible sense, a different word is needed, does detest work??
 
Oh and my guilty secret is Neil Warnock, I quite like the fella tbh he seems straight forward enough to me granted he is an arrogant so and so but he talks a lot of sense and does a good job.

Terry's an excellent club player but, at the same time, has been a very lucky one IMHO. He's good at a lot of things but - and it's a big "but" - he has no pace. Playing for Chelsea he benefited hugely from having Makelele in front of him and Carvalho alongside him, and it's no coincidence that his form hasn't been as good since those two left. Playing for England he drops at least one serious ricket in every game they play against decent opposition, i.e.better than the likes of Wales. 😉
