If we sell torres to manscum for 40 M, I swear I will stop support Liverpool and I am fucking serious.

ha £40M

Behave.

No chance, even if we did agree a deal, I genuinely cannot see Torres wanting to play for them.

Here's a scarier thought...

What if there's a slight hint of truth to it, no matter how ridiculous ?

I dare not think...

You the new Brendan?

If the scum put in a £50m+ bid our owners would accept but I'm 100% sure that Torres would reject it.

No they wouldn't.

Torres is one of our most marketable assets, and one of our best players.

From a purely financial standpoint no player is worth more than £50m to a club.

That is a classic bullshit story, one of the very best of its type....

I might also add that if a 28 yo etoo with one year left is being touted for 30m and Zlatan "cows arse banjo" for 80m then 40M will not buy you a pristine Torres from your bitterest rivals.

FACT.

We'll never sell Torres to Man Utd. If we did, no matter for how much, I'd throw in my season ticket.

Like they did last year when the Chavs bid £50M.

It's a fcuking nothing story, we're not selling and Torres isn't interested in going.

He is the Superstar of the worlds best national team going into what will be a World Cup season. And he is ours!!!! Not for sale at any price... 😀

Reading between the lines on this bullshit, does anyone think this might be remotely connected to the fact that we're interested in Tevez? Sounds like a bit of a tit-for-tat story.

Out of interest, where does no, start to become maybe?
£60m, 70m, 80m?

With the money floating about at the moment, someone like Citeh, Scum of Barca, may suddenly decide they need him. He may be the model player, in that he plays for the love of the game and the fans, but the idiots might decide to cash in with the amount of debt hanging around their necks.

I'm not in this group of hyterical idiots that think its likely, just a hypothetical question.

It is a NO case whatever money is put on the table. because we would have to buy a replacement in the same market as we sell him, and there is no obvious replacement there. Lets say i.e. someone bid 100 mill Euros. Who were we to replace him with, and what would they be worth? We could go for i.e. Etoo, but Barca would demand a huge amount of cash if just had recieved a Huge amount of cash, so the real deal for us wouldnt be much worth anyway.

€250million if we line up all our replacement first?

Real would argue differently citing Beckham and probably now Ronaldo as examples.

I think they could be wrong.

Over the course of Ronaldo's contract them will have to pay £80m in transfer fees and nearly £110m in wages. That is well over £30m per season.
Last season RM made a little over £35m in profit so they are going to have to double that instantly next year and keep it at that level for the full 6 years just to get their money back.

If you add in another £80m-£90m for Kaka they will have add another 50% to the profit again.

Time will tell but I would be very surprised if they got half the increase in profit just to break even.
