If he was out of the squad he's certainly more likely to out drinking and putting himself in a vulnerable position whereby he could either do something stupid or be easily accused of something. The timing suggests the likelihood of something happening between the pair is increased, but as ever it's up to the victim to find and generate proof and she doesn't appear to have an awful lot.

If he is a devout Muslim, as portrayed in the media - I dont think he'd have been out drinking.
More likely scenario played out as follows reading her twitter
He tried it on with her.
She said no
He said 'come on I'm famous, look'
She said no
He kicked her out the house as he didn't get his own way.
She got pissed off and went to the police.
Depends how far he went, and where he was touching, when trying it on whether its 'sexual assault' though.

It was his word against mine sounds an awful lot like that evidence wasn't evidence of anything at all.
What evidence would be sufficient to get him convicted? That load of bull certainly won't be.
I'm not sure whether she's telling the truth, but her story is so confusing and unclear it's not surprising the police haven't taken it further.
Even if we accept everything she says as truth, we still don't know that he did anything wrong. Did he touch her? If so, where and when and did she consent to it?

Based solely from her thread:
They were at the party, as people were leaving he said I will call you cab (he didn't) he then tried it on with her and felt her up (no detail of where) to which she said no, so he offered her a grand to have sex, she said no again then asked to go the bathroom, she messaged her mum from the bathroom and booked a cab herself, she returned and told him she had booked a cab, he said you can wait for it outside. Then she went the police station and filed a report, the police said there is no case to be had as there is no evidence, it is your word against his, so she decided to out him on Twitter as a form of justice instead.
The bits which are moody are obviously the lying about the cab, touching her up, and the offering the money.
There's no point giving an opinion as we only know half the story, and it's bang out of order to have a go at the victim.
I'm just fucking glad I'm way past that age now. It's bloody ridiculous if you agree to go to someone's house and he kissed her (OK if seems) then touched her leg - she said no and basically that was that.
