I actually don't understand that viewpoint; it's not as if football expertise can guarantee anything.

John Smith's expertise was in electronics and selling beer; and he was a magnificent Chairman.

I'm sure everyone's worried, but let's see how he does for a bit before the pitchforks and torches are brought out.

At least John Smith was good at what he did prior to being at LFC.

All that nobhead did was get born in the right order. I wanted the FA to burn already but letting hierarchical decisions be influenced by some weird nonsensical sense of birthright gives me the right horrors.

I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. Just pointing out that Chairmen come from varying backgrounds.
