At this point if you are Wisdom or Ilori and Klopp looks to bring in another CB you might as well just ask to leave. Whats the point of having these players if at 23 years old they arent even trusted to fill in on the bench

You can do it just running Zlate... I remember playing a Sunday league game, one of my teammates no more than 10 feet from me controlled the ball and went to turn, and I will always remember the pop sound with him falling to the floor screaming. Tore the achillles badly, was on crutches for 6 months.

Therefore it doesn't matter how he injured it... most of the time no one else is involved.

Not much IMO. When he was with the Arse his main value always seemed to me to be as an occasional attacking threat. I never much rated his actual defending TBH and the thought of him playing on the same side of the back four as Moreno in last season's form gives me the shivers.

It's a shame for the lad. After so long out though I am expecting a few bumps in the road on his way back into contention.

He'll get there, but it might be a while yet before he's fully fit and firing - even after he's gotten over this setback.

Well Ilori is off to the Olympics for a start so we can't afford to go a month or more without CB backup and Wisdom must know already he has no long term here. They should be looking to move on anyway, I would be in their shoes.

Yeah, but then he might need to build his fitness back coming back after 9 months out and you never know if there will be set-backs. I don't see how Klopp can take this chance, especially with Sakho also out. He will buy another CB for sure. Gomez was also someone who could cover at full-back and now with Flanagan not looking good in pre-season we might be a bit short of cover in that area also.

Great news that he isn't going to be out for the reported 'up to 9 months' and hopefully back soon. We'll still need another CB (get Toure back FFS) as backup !
