Torres has scored more goals for Liverpool in 2011 than for Chelsea.

He signed for them in January.

Heh

Yeah. Bolton 1, Blackburn 1, Wolves 2. That was his January haul

He's got three for the rentboys.

I wonder what the actual, objective reason is for his deterioration?

Okay, the likes of Gerrard and Yossi did provide him with great balls, but he also made so many goals on his own. Some due to his speed, but others not so much. So it's not a simple case of him losing a little bit of pace. He might well be slightly slower after his injury, but nothing like the yard of pace that Owen lost.
He really was a phenomenal centre forward for us. Best in the league. Even scored 5 in January before he left. It's a real puzzler (one that makes me happy).

Was he affected that much mentally after a few sub-par performances for them that he's turned completely shite? But from a world class striker to one that's only scored 3 goals in close to a season's worth of football for his new team is startling.

I'm still waiting for someone to say that's the reason we should sign him, he's better for us than chelsea

I had an SMS today saying we were going to sign him on loan come January

Yeah he scored 2 against that Belgian team that Valencia beat by about 21 goals last week
