It's obviously way down the club's list of priorities, but they really ought to make up their minds whether or not he should remain as the club's first International Ambassador, because as soon as the news provoked a negative reaction they seemed to hide him away. And it's not much use having an international ambassador - and a paid one at that - if you hide him away and you don't send him all over the place, work him hard and get some positive results from his activities. It doesn't bother many fans, understandably, but commercially the club is generally a really serious operator these days, and Owen's job was supposed to help in the securing of new deals and arrangements abroad. Barnes would do a better job anyway.
