EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United will be taken OFF the market by the Glazer family after bidders fail to reach their asking price in a huge blow to furious fans... as they hold out for £10BN for the club[/article][article]

  • The Glazers are holding out for £10billion to part ways with Manchester United
  • The owners have received offers throughout a protracted negotiating period
  • Only Sheikh Jassim of Qatar and Sir Jim Ratcliffe emerged as serious bidders

I wonder if they never really intended to sell but thought an apparently serious attempt to do so might dampen the fan discontent down a bit, set a high price, then were surprised when offers quite near to what they said they wanted actually started to come in.

It's all good anyway.

Article is very probably bullshit, but if it's true it makes it a lot more likely that we'll be state owned sooner rather than later.

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that the Glazers' used the interest to drive the value of the club up, which would allow them to borrow more against the new value?

In the current climate - what would the point of borrowing more be?

Is there a point at which they have to refinance their loans and their repayments jump to the point of crippling them?

I'm glad United are less likely to be state owned force. They already spend big, but that would likely mean they go up another level. Plus they might actually sort out the operations of the club behind the scenes. From our POV the Glazers are doing a terrific job and long may their reign.

Whether the Qataris come for us I don't know. I hope not for all the obvious reasons, but even on a footballing perspective they seem shite. PSG are arguably the most hated team in Europe and they've been badly managed from the top down since the takeover.

I couldn't care a fuck about sport washing considering amount of shit my country the UK has been upto in the last 400 years.
Bring in the cash and the trophies with it. Ligue 1 is farmers league and the Prem is one too, if the Qatari can turn us in to serial winners, I'm okay with it.

This is probably a concise definition of everything that’s wrong with football today.

Sancho having issues, they're looking to offload him it seems. No way would we be in for him - it just doesn't happen but I can see him doing well with the right coach

They say they arranged a private doctor to treat her at Antony’s request, it was not one of their own doctors

More girls have come out against Antony. So there's 3 in total now

Can't wait for his staunch defenders to come out
