Ox is a waste of space though... and Klopp seems to think likewise because he never picks him.
If there is no one we think is worth the money and we don't want to shell out for a stopgap, this seems like the ideal solution.... unless the departure was acrimonious.
If you believe the press, Klopp is reportedly holding out for Bellingham, who Dortmund are refusing to sell this year due the Haaland departure. A short term loan signing may make sense if this is true and we have assurances that he's Bellingham is willing to join.I have nothing against him. He is a good player.
However, I don’t quite understand the logic. Either we need another midfielder or we don’t. If we do need one now, don’t be so tight and actually buy one.
Because we didn't really have the cash to spent on transfers as such because of the losses from covid. Fsg don't want to put their own money into transfers but because diaz was a target for the summer and with spurs heavily sniffing around then they had to act. Klopp has a really good working relationship with the owners and I think they will do what they can to help in situations like thatI was responding to rurikbird regarding the signing of 3 players, - in my mind we have signed just one major - the others are too young to be taken as serious signings just yet - even if they turn out to be gems. The Diaz signing - yeah I hear you but again you have to question why last season after all that suffering and shit we only signed Konate and no one else ? - really do you think it was good enough ? - No - that Diaz signing was a late signing that should've been made last summer, and we did need him in the end given AFCON and our long season. Again this idea that Diaz was being planned for this summer is something I just don't believe.
We need to sign put this talk of Gini back in the bottle!!!!
Spent the Friday night in Paris having dinner on the table next to Pochettino. We were drunk. We swung our napkins over our heads and sang the Gini song and asked him why he never picked him. He was suitably impressed.
I'd have him back for the season for sure.
But Klopp never goes backwards.
Never going to happen.
"I said...put....the...Gini...back in the bo...ttle..."
Ok this just went sideways....You're a gini in a bottle mate.
We gotta rub you the right way.
Glock is somewhere getting aroused by all this young Aguilera talk. You're a gini in a bottle mate.
We gotta rub you the right way.

Something about this thread makes me dislike it very much.
Pompous thread.
Pouring cold water on the speculation. Together with the reports that Ox will not be allowed to leave, it paints a picture of us betting on Ox to fill that need in midfield. Not sure I like it, to be honest - Ox is not like Minamino, he doesn’t do well coming in in an odd game unless he is allowed to build up confidence by playing regularly.

Noted, will try to be less pompous.

Why would Ox want to stay?
So why is he sulking?Decent money, settled up here with his family, near enough guarantee of some kind of medal.
Anywhere he goes now will be a downwards step
So why is he sulking?
I've no doubt he wants to play. He might be willing to see out his contract though, as it's arguably his last big contractSo why is he sulking?
